Audi TT Instrument Cluster Rebuild
These instrument clusters are very common units to fail for all Audi TT vehicles.
The common faults we see with the earlier 1998 - 2006 instrument cluster is failure of the fuel and/or temperature gauge and chattering gauges. Other faults include complete loss of digital display or complete dash failure.
The later, 2006 onwards, TT instrument cluster suffers from backlight failure, complete loss of all display and/or complete non starting of the vehicle due to immobiliser lock-out.
Both instrument clusters cost a fortune when purchased new and you’ll only get a 6-month warranty. Once installed, a new cluster will require programming to the vehicle using dealer level diagnostic equipment, this would also be charged for.

Test and rebuild:
Every Audi TT dashboard instrument cluster is tested thoroughly on our bespoke Hardware In-the-Loop rigs. This simulates the cluster as though it was on a vehicle enabling us to test all functionality. Once all the faults have been identified we move onto the rebuild stage. Each unit is fully stripped, and all common failing components are replaced with higher rated components than standard. Once the rebuild is complete we will test the dashboard instrument cluster again to ensure that it meets the OEM operating parameters and our own Lifetime warranty standards.
Programming:
All original programming is retained during testing and rebuilding, meaning that the cluster will simply be plug and play once delivered back to you.
