VW Touran / Golf V ABS Pump Module

VW Golf & Touran ABS fault

VW Golf V & Touran ABS Pump Module fault

Fault code: 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201)

This ABS Pump Module is a very common failure for the VW Golf Mk5 2004 - 2008 and Touran vehicles built between 2003 - 2015. The fault causes the ESP light to illuminate permanently on the instrument cluster & the ESP OFF switch will be illuminated also.

If you have been for a diagnostic check on your VW Golf Mk5 or Touran then you will probably have been told you that you have a fault with your Brake Pressure sensor or given you the full fault code of: 01435 Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) and will probably have told you that you must change your ABS Pump Module for a small fortune, plus fitting costs.

We can rebuild your own ABS pump module to a new specification, for a fraction of the cost of new, and provide an unlimited mileage Lifetime Warranty*.

When we rebuild your ABS pump we not only correct the problem but the materials and processes we use will reinforce your ABS pump module to prevent the fault from ever reoccurring.

Hi Thomas, we can certainly help with that. The Volkswagen Golf goes under the nameplate ‘Rabbit’ in the USA, so you have come to the correct place. Please take a look at the following page regarding your issues: https://www.ecutesting.com/common-faults/volkswagen/volkswagen-golf-audi-tt-and-a3-abs-pump-failure/

Hi there I drive a mk5 gt sports it appears to have a faulty abs pump and the number written on the pump is 1ko 614 517 BE F1. Which other pump can be used on it's place. By the way the uses dsg gear shift.
ECU Admin says: 06/09/2019 09:31:42
Hi Pedro, rather than replace the ABS with another part from manufacturer, which will have the same inherent faults built in, we would recommend a rebuild of your own unit. This way you can be assured that the fault will be engineered out so that it does not return. Information for your part number can be found here: https://www.ecutesting.com/product-catalogue/volkswagen/golf/abs-pump-ecumodule-combined/amc7379ae/

Hi if you repaired mine would it need to be coded in or not thanks
ECU Admin says: 10/07/2019 09:02:58
Hi Chris, if we rebuild the ABS unit from your vehicle then there would be no need for re-coding when you get it back. Just simply fit it back in, bleed the brakes and away you go.
