Turbo Actuators

We test, repair and supply turbo actuators for most common failing vehicles, all turbo actuators are fully tested on our purpose built test-rigs to ensure they comply with OE specifications. We use higher rated than standard components during our rebuild processes to ensure an extended life and to eliminate the original design flaw. All rebuilt turbo actuators come with an unlimited mileage lifetime warranty* as standard.

Below is a small list of the most common failing Turbo Actuators.

If you do not see your turbo actuator listed then please see the product catalogue for our full range.

Fitted to the 2.2L Duratorq engine, this turbo actuator will cause restricted performance, constant illumination of the engine management light and multiple fault codes complaining of turbo boost control, turbocharger boost sensors or boost control valve/solenoids....

This turbo actuator is a very common issue for the Ford Mondeo III TDCI, failure will cause the glow plug light to flash and the engine to go into 'limp mode'. Commonly storing fault codes of "P132A and P132B"...

This is a very common failure for the Touareg, causing limited running mode and EM light illumination. Fault codes stored: 'P1953 - Turbo control unit 2 defective" and "P1952 - Turbo control module 1 defective"...

Another common failing Hella type turbo actuator fitted to the Jaguar S & X-type. When the turbo actuator fails you will notice a sudden reduction in engine power and the glow plug light will appear on the instrument cluster...

Common failing turbo actuator for BMW 3-Series (E90, E91, E92, E93) that causes a loss of engine power with fault codes stored for 'Charge Air Pressure Control'

Common failing actuator that will cause the engine to lose power intermittently, if left long enough then the fault will become more permanent...

Common failing actuator for E220, E270 & E320 (W211) that causes loss of engine performance and stored fault codes blaming 'turbo actuator boost performance'...
