Jeep Patriot & Grand Cherokee ABS light – Caused by ABS fault C2116

The hugely popular Jeep Grand Cherokee (2002-11) and the, now discontinued, Patriot (2007-17) models both have commonly failing ABS units. The fault manifests itself with the prevention of full emergency braking assistance and is usually the cause of your Jeep’s ABS and traction control light remaining on.

When met by the irritatingly illuminated ABS warning light on your Jeep Grand Cherokee or Patriot, you’ll want to have the vehicle checked diagnostically by a mechanic. When the Jeep is scanned with a diagnostic tool, the fault code C2116 - ABS Pump Motor Low Voltage will often be stored, and any attempt at clearing the code will be in vain, as the C2116 error code indicates a failure within the ABS pump and module itself.

Package the Jeep ABS pump and module inside a sturdy box with plenty of packaging material (make sure you include your confirmation email in the box).

Send us your package by tracked courier (the shipping instructions are on the confirmation email).

Once received we will test, rebuild and return your ABS unit with an unlimited mileage lifetime warranty. (if your unit turns out not to be faulty then we will refund your payment less a small testing fee and return shipping)
