REBUILD DETAILS

Rebuild details (“Get Yours Rebuilt”): Professional level diagnostic equipment and/or specialist knowledge may be required when reinstalling, clearing of fault codes and professional diagnostic checks should be carried out following installation. In order to get your unit rebuilt you will need to remove the faulty unit from the vehicle and send it to us, we would then test the unit and if it is faulty we would rebuild it then return it to you with a Lifetime* warranty. When you complete payment the unit will be automatically booked in to our workshop and you will receive full step by step instructions for sending the unit to us, you will also be able to track the progress of the unit at every stage using the “Track Your Part” link located at the top of most pages of our website. If the unit turns out not to be faulty then we would refund your payment and just charge a test fee of $70 + return shipping. Please make sure you check the part numbers on the unit match the rebuild service you are purchasing. Not all parts can be repaired. If the part is not repairable, we will refund your payment and ship it back to you. If you send in an item that does not match the one in the description, we will contact you and try to rebuild it if requested. We recommend the following couriers when sending your unit to be rebuilt: DHL Express.

Turnaround time: 
The quoted turnaround is the estimated number of working days we will likely need your unit complete the work. It does not include shipping time, weekends or national holidays. In some instances it may take longer to complete your unit if we need to order parts or if your unit requires extended testing.

The following descriptions represent the programming state of the unit once you receive it

All original programming will be retained, no need to program anything once you receive the unit back. However In exceptional circumstances we may need to replace the software within your unit (if it is corrupt or causing problems) if this is the case then we will inform you of this before rebuilding the unit. Professional level diagnostic equipment will be required when installing, clearing of fault codes and professional diagnostic checks should be carried out following installation.

Return Shipping: You will need to arrange your own shipping to get the unit sent to us, we recommend using DHL. Quoted shipping is for the return shipping via DHL Express Delivery shipping costs will be confirmed before payment completes. When you complete payment the unit will be automatically booked in to our workshop and you will receive full step by step instructions for sending the unit to us, you will also be able to track the progress of the unit at every stage using the “Track Your Part” link located at the top of most pages of our website.

EXCHANGE ITEM

Exchange Item details (“Buy Now”): Professional level diagnostic equipment and/or specialist knowledge may be required when installing, clearing of fault codes and professional diagnostic checks should be carried out following installation. Please make sure that the part numbers on the original unit match the item you are purchasing. All “Buy Now” items are sold on an exchange basis, you will need to return the old faulty unit along with your returns form once you have fitted the replacement to the vehicle, you have 14 days (10 working days) to return the old faulty unit. Your Lifetime* warranty will be activated upon receipt of the old unit. If the old faulty unit is not returned to us then your warranty will be void (No exceptions). It is your responsibility to cover the cost of posting the old faulty unit back to us.

This unit is coded, upon installation it will require resetting and then coding to the vehicle using relevant “dealer level” diagnostic equipment. If you are unable to do this then we may be able to transfer the coding from your old faulty unit, please contact us if you are unsure.

Professional level diagnostic equipment will be required when installing. Clearing of fault codes and professional diagnostic checks should be carried out following installation.

Shipping: Purchases will be charged a core charge of $90 – this is refunded back to you in receipt of your old faulty unit. It is your responsibility to cover the cost of posting your old faulty unit back to us.

Brilliant customer service, answered all my queries before I posted the cluster. Tested and fixed in a few days, and received the next day after the fix was completed (in perfect condition). Really happy with every aspect, including the huge saving over a brand new cluster. Plugged back in and it just worked, and several weeks later there have been zero issues. Repair OK in the end 4/5

Sent off the unit for repair as all instrument dials/lights were inoperable. A few days later I was advised by ECU no fault had been found and had the option for return or rebuild (just in case). I opted for the latter. Unit retured in good time I re-installed it and it operated fine. However a few days later the dials stopped operating again for a few days which was obvoiusly a concern. After another few days everything was OK again. Weird.

The Resurrection 5/5

When I had my ‘dead’ 2001 Audi TT Roadster towed to my Import Garage I was hopeful that they could get it running again. They were able to tell me that it was my Instrument Cluster failing, but they could not fix it; no parts available. So I found ECU on line with excellent reviews to potentially repair the part. I shipped it to them; received daily updates; received the part back; installed it and it works perfectly. These guys are awesome!!!

They set 2 days I was stranded over a week with no dash board Communication is hard work they don’t respond to email Postage cost is high On the plus side when I eventually got the dash board back it was working I would suggest having the car towed some where before sending them your part my car was stranded road side as I though it would be fixed next day I paid a fortune to get my part to them before 9 am next day they didn’t look for 4 da

Pain free fix :) 5/5

Was pointed in the direction of ECU Testing by a friend who has a garage and diagnostics business, after the Wife's TT suffered the well known dashboard failure. Whereas another firm has said it would not be repairable, the dash was tested, replaced and back with us within the week. Communication throughout was clear and prompt, so we knew exactly what was happening - right up to the delivery and the parcel tracking Excellent service! 10/10
