Part was booked in for repair and chose the service through ECU testing collection service, was not collected at booked time, was collected 2 days later when i raised the issue. Was told not ECU testing fault, they don't do the collecting themselves-if you provide the service then accept resposibility, staff not that bothered. Have used company for several years, not anymore, will go elsewhare now. Poor service.

Our Mini R59 ECU had a fault. It was sending a constant live feed to a coil pack. ECU Testing confirmed the issue, repaired and returned the unit. The price was MUCH less than a new replacement ECU would be. A new or SH replacement ECU would need setting up to the car, probably at a main dealers. The big advantage here is that the repaired ECU is still set up for your car so is 'plug and play'. It also comes with a lifetime. Recommended 100%.

On return from ECU testing I refitted the air bag ecu plus a new (bigger) battery just in case that had caused the problem and was delighted when switching on the ignition that the air bag light and flashing mileometer behaved as normal and the seat belt light went off when the belt was plugged in. Happy days.
